Flock of God Ministries (FOG Ministries) is a vibrant, faith-filled church family dedicated to seeking and saving the lost, in line with our guiding scripture: Luke 19:10 — “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”

Our Story

In October 2013, Pastor Matty Florence Mhlongo received a powerful divine vision from God. Together with her husband, Pastor Sam Mhlongo, she was called to establish a house of God on a former dumping site in Ramaphosa, an informal settlement in Boksburg, South Africa. What began as an unlikely location has become a beacon of hope and transformation in the community.

Both pastors are ordained ministers who received their official ordination at the Assembly of God Movement Church in Katlehong. Their shared calling is rooted in a deep passion for preaching the Gospel, bringing spiritual salvation, and supporting the vulnerable in Ramaphosa and surrounding areas. Pastor Matty often describes how God deposited a “heart of ministry” in them, grounding them firmly — both spiritually and literally — in this community to make a lasting difference.
