Our Story
Pastor Matty Florence Mhlongo’s deep passion for children began at a young age. From the age of 12, she cared for her neighbours’ children whenever they went into town, quickly earning their trust. This love for childcare continued into her own journey of motherhood.
While working in the medical field, she gained extensive experience caring for newborns and infants — receiving babies from the labour ward, looking after them in the nursery, caring for premature babies in incubators, and supporting mothers recovering from Caesarean sections.
This heartfelt calling to nurture young children has been part of her vision since 1999. Although establishing the day care centre was not easy, God’s guidance made it possible. When Pastor Matty was called into full-time ministry, God expanded the vision further — to build a combined Christian school that will eventually cater for children from creche all the way through to primary and high school.
She continues to pray and trust God for the complete fulfilment of this dream, standing on the promise of His Word:
